IT Meets: Startups. A Night of Roast Battles and Fails

Halloween is the season of terrifying stories; even successful tech entrepreneurs have their fair share of them. On November 2 in Lviv, startup founders and company CEOs will share their mistakes and failures during IT Meets: Startups. Promising startups will also compete in a battle of wit and insults.

It is the sixth event hosted by the Lviv IT Cluster within its IT Meets series. This time, the organizers will combine two internationally recognized formats in one event: FuckUp Nights and a roast battle. The event will take place at the Powder Tower and will gather over a hundred startup founders, tech entrepreneurs, business angels, and venture investors.

Participants can expect:

1. Fuckup Standup: Sharp humor and advice from successful tech entrepreneurs. You'll hear candid stories about failures and challenging moments that became turning points. This’ll help you avoid mistakes that others have already made.
2. Startup Roast Battle: Pitches from promising Ukrainian startups. Experienced experts won't just share their opinions on each idea but will thoroughly “roast” the teams. If you want to improve your presentations and business development approaches and compete for a $2,500 cash prize, register your startup by October 28 here.
3. Networking: Networking is one of the core values of IT Meets. You can look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals, making new acquaintances, receiving support, and gaining insights. After all, we believe in the power of community and open exchange of ideas.
